What you’ll need:
Thick bread slices
Eggs
Heavy cream
Butter
Sugar
Cinnamon powder

Preparation:
Mix all ingredients, except the bread, in a shallow bowl.
Dip the bread into the egg mixture, don’t soak.
Flip and dip the other side.
Place in the air fryer at 188°C for 8 mins.
Air fry and turn halfway through or after 4 minutes.

Topping suggestions:
Maple syrup or pancake syrup
Fruits such as strawberries, blackberries, blueberries or bananas.
Powdered sugar
Melted chocolate

Tip: Don’t be afraid to open your Hisense Air Fryer and check on your food while it cooks to determine the perfect timing.

What you’ll need:
45ml Olive oil
1 Onion, finely chopped
2 Garlic cloves, finely chopped
30ml Roasted masala
30ml Cumin seeds
20ml Ground coriander
20ml Fennel seed
400ml Canned coconut milk
400g Canned tomato puree
24 Deboned chicken thighs
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
410g Canned butter beans, drained
1 Handful of fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
100g or 110ml Butter, cubed
Rice and plain yoghurt to serve

Preparation:
Place a pot in the air-fryer basket and preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
Pour oil into pot and heat for 1 minute.
Add onion and garlic and saute for 2 minutes.
Add spices and fry for 4 minutes; stir after 2 minutes.
Add coconut milk and tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes or until mixture is warmed through.
Add chicken, season well with salt and pepper and stir.
Air fry for 40 minutes.
Add butter beans, coriander and stir.
Dot butter on top of the stew and allow a melt, but do not stir it through.
Serve with rice and plain yoghurt.

What you’ll need:
6 Whole yellow mielies (corn on the cob)
1 Onion, very finely chopped
2 Garlic cloves, very finely chopped
230g or 250ml softened butter
1 Handful of finely chopped parsley
150g Cheddar cheese, grated
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Preparation:
Preheat air fryer to 180°C.
Cook mielies in a pot of boiling water on the stove for 10 minutes.
Drain and set aside.
Mix onion, garlic, butter, parsley and cheese.
Place mielies in air fryer basket and top with dollops of butter mixture.
Season well with salt and pepper.
Air-fry for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

What you’ll need:
45ml Olive oil
1 Onion, finely chopped
400g diced bacon
1 Red pepper, deseeded and diced
2 x 410g canned baked beans in tomato sauce
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
12 Slices ciabatta bread
Butter for spreading

Preparation:
Place a pot or ovenproof dish in the air-fryer basket and preheat air fryer to 180°C.
Place olive oil, onions, bacon and peppers in pot and fry for 5-8 minutes or until bacon starts to brown.
Add beans, season well with salt and pepper and stir.
Return to air fryer for another 10 minutes; stir every 2 minutes.
Butter ciabatta slices on both sides.
Arrange bread in air fryer basket and toast for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve beans with toast.
