Hisense Donates to Atlantis SAPS


Hisense South Africa made a donation of a Hisense TV and refrigerator to Atlantis local police station, as the station is in same area of our Hisense Factory. Consul Zhang from Consulate General of the P.R.C. in Cape town , director of the Cape Town Chinese Community Police Forum, Mr. Chen Zhujin, Brig Stander, the cluster commander in Cape Town , Colonel Lamour, cluster detective coordinator in Cape Town and also the station commander, Colonel Nortje were invited to attend the ceremony.

During the ceremony, station commander, Colonel Nortje said: ‘We would like to thank Hisense for all the support and the sponsorship received to our local police station, not only on job creation brought by the localised assembly and production lines in the Atlantis factory, but it is also a huge contributing factor to the corresponding reduction in crime in this area. These are inseparable with what Hisense values and plays a major role in social responsibility that are affirmed and recognised by the police service in Cape Town.

Mr Chen Zhujin expressed his appreciation for all the support from the SAPs in Cape Town to the Cape Town Chinese Community Police Forum, and would like to see more and more Chinese Enterprises like Hisense as role model in taking part in support of the Chinese Community Police Forum.

The group visited the plant with the factory HR Manager Hale Liu after the ceremony and experienced the atmosphere in the different production line sections.

This event will not only enhance the work relation between SAPs and Hisense, but also facilitating the communication and take it to the next level by establishing a strong relationship with local police.
