On the evening of Sept.13th, Hisense South Africa held the new ULED product launch in Johannesburg. Around 40 CEOs and high level executives from the top customer channels and 20 local media such as News24, MyBroadBand, Stuff Magazine, XinHua News Agency, etc attended this event. This launch event was used to present the Hisense SA 2016 new ranges of ULED TV and to showcase this leading technology to the guests through product presentation, reveal, experience etc. and to enhance the high end image of ULED products and push for more listings of this new range in the top customers’ channels. Media where also issued with press release to cover all the highlights of the new range to help educate the consumer through media releases after the event.
Themed “ULED, It Starts With U”, this launch event focused on two U–“Top Customers” as one U and “ULED” as the other. Through details of each on site elements related to U, all the guests experienced a special VIP feeling; regarding the product reveal and presentation, 4 key topics were covered in details, including Ultimate Color, Ultimate Contrast, Ultimate Brightness, Ultimate Motion, which help provide consumers a total solution of excellent picture quality. Serena Li, the TV product manager of Hisense South Africa who presented in-depth explanation of what the advantage of ULED and coordinated with the dance reveal for each feature above, this event has totally changed customer and media’s mind on ULED. Many customers commented the presentation is “Very Impressive, very well done, really special product”
On the night, Hisense also invited South Africa’s influential trend annalist Dion Chang to provide our top customers good insights of future hyper visual business trend, which also match with the development trend of Hisense TV technology.
Right after the launch, around 6 press articles immediately came through such as from MyBroadband, techSmart, Womenstuff, Lazy Gamer, etc, and will be a lot more from other media in the following weeks as well.
Hisense South Africa TV unit sales overtook Samsung to become No.1 since March 2016 and been consecutively No.1 for 5 months already. This result comes from the Top customer strategy and great efforts on continuously enhancing the high end brand image from South Africa branch.
