In 2015, Hisense has increased efforts to promote its brand in Americas, Europe and other key international markets. In North and South Americas, Hisense acquired Sharp’s TV factory in Mexico and took over its TV business in these markets; In Europe, Hisense TV plant in Czech went into operation. Meanwhile, Hisense released its latest ULED TV in New York and showed its new generation Laser Cast at 2016 CES. The joint efforts in brand promotion and high-end product release greatly improved Hisense TV global market share, lifting Hisense to No.3 position since the third quarter in 2015.
Hisense did well in global high-end TV market. Hisense 4K TV also showed great growth momentum and ranked No.3 with the 8.1% shipment market share. In 55inch-59inch, Hisense ranked No. 3 with 9.3% market share. In 50inch-54inch category, Hisense shipment share is 10.0%–the second largest.
In Chinese TV market, Hisense continued to maintain a leading position. According to China Market Monitor data for January 2016, Hisense TV ranked No.1 with 17.95% sales volume market share, the highest monthly market share ever and more than the sum of Samsung, Sony and Sharp in January. It was also opening the 13th consecutive year for Hisense to be No.1 in Chinese TV market since 2004.
