Hisense #Whatsyourgoal World Cup Promotion – T’s & C’s

Terms and Conditions:

  1. The Hisense #whatsyourgoal Campaign will run 15 April 2018 to 30 June 2018.
  2. The promotion will take place at 1200 participating stores nationwide (Makro, Game, Dion Wired, HIFI Corp, Tafelberg, Hirsch’s, Kloppers, Pick ‘n Pay) and including furniture retailers (OK Furniture / House & Home / Bradlows / Russells / HomeCorp / Furnmart / Fair Price) as well as Takealot and Incredible Connection.
  3. The promotion will only take place at participating stores/channels located in the Republic of South Africa.
  4. To enter, customers must purchase any TV or Home Appliance Hisense product, excluding: Microwave Ovens, Bar Fridges and Chest Freezers.
  5. Please refer to addendum A for all eligible products/model numbers.
  6. Only the original purchase receipt will be considered valid. No photocopies, photographs or scanned  images will be accepted as a valid purchase receipt to spin and win.
  7. The competition will have a USSD entry mechanic and participants will be required to dial into the USSD system and enter their digital code provided.
  8. The value and prize is random and is at the discretion of the Hisense team and is not dependant on the purchase amount.
  9. Winners will be entitled to an instant prize of random selection which will be redeemable as per conditions laid out below. Winners will dial into the USSD string provided and follow the prompts to enter their details.
  10. Customers dial *120*1130# and submit their details. Any entries received after midnight on the 30 June 23:59 will be deemed as disqualified. No negotiations will be entered into.
  11. TLC Marketing Worldwide (Pty) Ltd (“TLC”) and Hisense are collectively referred as the “Promotors” in respect of the promotion for purposes of these T and C’s.
  12. The TLC Prize entitles the participant to either:
    1. R500 TravelStart Voucher
    2. R500 Mangwanani Voucher
    3. 2 for 1 Dining Memsbership
    4. R300 Edgars Gift Card
  13. R500 TravelStart Voucher:
    1.        R500 Travelstart T&C’s:
    2. This gift voucher can only be booked through TLC Marketing and can only be booked for the Participant.
    3. This voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.
    4. Once verified, a booking form will be emailed back to the Participant to complete
    5. The Participant must complete and return the booking form within 30 days from the date of purchase
    6. Bookings must be made 2 weeks prior the travelling dates
    7. Once All price differences (If Any) has been received and reflect into TLC Marketing’s bank account, confirmation of the flight will be emailed through to the Participant
    8. Should there be no viable flights available based on the consumers selection, then TLC Marketing Worldwide Concierge will make contact with the consumer and offer alternative dates and/or destinations.
  14. R500 Mangwanani Voucher:
    1. Should the Participant select this prize option, a   R500 voucher pin will be sent through to the Participant via SMS. To redeem, Participant to phone Mangwanani on 0860 55 0055 to make a booking
  15. Mangwanani Spa Voucher T&C’s:
    1. Bookings must be made before arrival. Bookings must be made by calling 0860 55 0055.
    2. Vouchers are redeemable within 3 months from date of receipt
    3. Offer is valid form the 15th April – 31 July 2018
    4. R500 Voucher is not redeemable on products
    5. The above Vouchers are not redeemable on any special offers
    6. Package Vouchers cannot be used for payment; Mangwanani has a strict no refunds policy
    7. The voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer.
    8. Cancellation of bookings or no show will result in a 100% forfeiture of the full booking value.
    9. Rescheduling 5 days before your booking will carry a 10% administration fee, which is payable when rescheduling
    10. Rescheduling 3 days before your booking will carry a 25% administration fee, which is payable when rescheduling
    11. Rescheduling within three days of your booking will result in 100% forfeiture of the booking.
    12. The voucher cannot be used for existing bookings.
    13. The voucher is not applicable to groups of more than 10.
    14. All vouchers are governed by the relevant terms and conditions of Mangwanani, available at www.mangwanani.co.za.

      3. Treatments are subject to availability.
      4. The voucher cannot be used to book at the Beverly Hills Hotel and or the Palazzo Hotel at Monte Casino.
      5. The voucher is not redeemable for special offers, personalized treatments and products.
      6. Package offers for this voucher is subject to Moonlight, half day and full day package bookings.
      7. Package Vouchers cannot be used for payment; Mangwanani has a strict no refunds policy
      8. The voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer.

      15. Attempted double-use of the voucher or unauthorized use by a person other than the participant is a criminal offence and will lead to prosecution.

  16.   2 for 1 Dining Membership:
    1. Should the Participant select this prize option, Participants will be required to send through their details via email in order for TLC to activate their Memberships, once done a  2 for 1 12month dining membership will be sent through to the Participant via SMS.       1. 12 month Dining Membership T&C’S:
      2. The dining benefit entitles the member to eat at selected restaurants throughout South Africa and get up to R100 (One Hundred Rand) of the 2nd main meal.  A maximum discount of R100.00 (One Hundred Rand) off will apply.
      3. This offer is limited to Dining active members only that reside in South Africa aged 18 and over, employees of the promoter, its agents and distributors.
      4. The Go Dining benefit can be used multiple times in one day but not more than once in the same restaurant on the same day.
      5. Only one Go Dining card may be used per dining group.
      6. The Go Dining benefit can be used at all participating restaurants, advance booking is necessary at all locations and is subject to availability.
      7. Customers are required to contact Go Dining concierge prior to dining to:
      8. authorize your membership (invalid memberships will be declined authorization);
      9. check availability of the offer;
      10. determine whether restrictions or exclusions apply at the restaurant at which you intend dining;
      11. make a booking, where possible.
      12. Some restaurants do require an extended booking notice. This can be confirmed with the GoDining concierge when booking. Discount may not be granted if insufficient notice is given.
      13. Should you wish to cancel or reschedule a booking please contact the GoDining concierge prior to your original booking time.
      14. The GoDining benefit is based on standard prices i.e. the full menu price and the restaurant has the right to exclude any specials that the restaurant may be advertising at various times.
      15. On arrival at the venue, the GoDining Membership number must be presented to restaurant staff in order to make use of the 2 for 1 dining offer.
      16. The restaurant will check the validity of the members’ status and will not be required to honor the benefit if the member is not active on GoDining system.
      17. The list of participating GoDining restaurants remains subject to change. An updated list of restaurants will also be available at any given point upon request and is available on www.GoRhino.co.za.
      18. Participating GoDining restaurant venues reserve the right to vary prices, times and offer availability (e.g. public holidays).
      19. Prices (if any) and information presented are valid at the time of going to press and could be subject to change. Any updates will be available on the website.  Neither the Promoter, nor its agents or distributors can accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged 2 for 1 Cards and reserves the right to withdraw or amend any details and/or offers.
      20. Photocopied, scanned, damaged or illegible 2 for 1 Cards will not be accepted.
      21. The 2 for 1 card has no monetary value, is non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional restaurant offer within the restaurant or redeemed in whole or part for cash.
      22. Partner T and C’s apply Failure to adhere to, or any attempt to circumvent the GoRhino terms and conditions, will result in your membership being terminated.
      23. The 2 for 1 Dining Benefit redemption process may differ at certain restaurants. Any change will be communicated upon booking.
  17.  R300 Edgars Gift Card:
    1. Should the Participant select this prize option, a R300 Edgars cash voucher  pin will be sent through to the Participant via SMS. To redeem, visit any participating Edgars stores and present the pin when making   a purchase, please visit www.edgars.co.za for a full set of T&C’s.
  18. TLC does not accept any responsibility for late/non entries.

  21. All voucher pins are valid for a month from the date the customer receives the voucher pin. Vouchers must be redeemed within a month of receipt.
  22. All Prizes are STRICTLY subject to participating TLC Partner availability within your region of choice
  23. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash in part or whole and in non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable. The Organizers reserve the right to substitute any prize and or reward with an alternative prize of similar or equal value.
  24. TLC, its agents and distributors cannot replace any lost or stolen Prize.
  25. Any additional services not included in the TLC Prize will be charged at FULL PRICE according to the respective Partner’s standard conditions.
  26. Any indemnities required by Partner Service Providers must be complied with, failing which the partner may not be obligated to provide the service.
  27. TLC, its agents and distributors accept no responsibility and it will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the participant, or accept any liability for (a) any non-acceptance by a venue(s) of this TLC Marketing Worldwide Prize or (b) any inability by the participant to use this TLC Marketing Worldwide Prize or at all (c) the lack of quality or any other aspect of any service which is or should be provided at any venue(s), nor will any of them be liable for any personal loss or injury occurring at any venue(s)
  28. TLC is not responsible for any prize misrepresentation (written or verbal) on warranties by anyone / group other than TLC
  29. TLC, Hisense and its authorized agents have no responsibility for the administration of the venue(s) and will not accept any liability in relation to the quality or performance thereof.
  30. TLC reserve the right to withdraw this reward in the event of force majeure such as war, earthquakes, disasters, calamities or similar circumstances, in which travel to such destinations is not advisable.  Where possible notice will be provided
  31. Consumers will also be eligible to enter into a draw to win a trip to Russia for the FIFA World Cup for two people. Condition laid out as per below:
    1. Two tickets will be redeemable for adults over the age of 18 years.
    2. The value of the prize is up to R300 000
    3. Travel dates are between 15 June 2018 and 15 July 2018
    4. Prize cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
  32. Hisense, and their respective advertising, media and PR agencies, or their trading partners will not be liable for any loss, damage or costs suffered by an entrant of this prize draw, even if caused by negligence. This clause means that competition entrants accept any risks associated with entering this competition and will not be able to bring a claim against the listed parties for any loss, damage, expense or delays.
  33. The winner may be asked to take part in publicity around the competition, however the winner may object to participating in any publicity initiatives of Hisense The winner will not receive any payment or other remuneration for any such publicity or otherwise. All materials, including publicity materials, will be the sole property of the promoter.
  34. Hisense reserves the right to terminate, temporarily suspend or amend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control or technical or other difficulties that might compromise its integrity.
  35. Hisense is entitled to at any time to correct, cancel or reject a purchase receipt for any reason (including without limitation where a receipt has been distributed or gained in an unauthorized manner)
  36. These promotional terms and conditions rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and participants agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts and/or applicable regulators.
  37. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with the retail channel, and, by entering, entrants agree and understand that the retail channel cannot be held responsible or liable in any way for or in connection with this competition. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the promoter and not to the retail channel.
  38. By entering this competition, all participants accept and agree to abide by these competition rules.

 

EXCLUSIONS AND OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS

  1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the Participant or the Promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (“CPA”).
  2. All Participants participate entirely at their own risk.  By reading and accepting these Terms and Conditions, the Participant gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless Hisense, their directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the promotion and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or willful misconduct of any of the indemnified parties.
  3. By entering the Promotion in accordance with its terms, Participants acknowledge that the Promotion will be managed in accordance with the provisions of the CPA. Participants undertake to expeditiously do all things necessary to enable the Promoters to comply with their obligations under the CPA including, but not limited to providing such personal information as may be required in order to facilitate handing over the Prize.
  4. The Promoters reserve the right to vary these Terms and Conditions by providing notice of such change. Any queries in this regard, and a copy of these Terms and Conditions can obtained by calling on 011 676 7797 during office hours (Monday to Friday 08h30 – 16h30) excluding weekends a public holidays, throughout the period of the Promotion
  5. This promotion is only open to person’s residing in South Africa and are aged 18 years or older.
  6. The Prizes are not available to TLC Marketing, Hisense, the Promoter or any agencies (“Interested Parties”) appointed by TLC Marketing and Hisense and the immediate families of any and all Interested and participating Parties.
  7. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
