HISENSE BUY AND WIN: FIFA WORLD CUP 2026™ LIVE MATCH TICKETS PROMOTION – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

  1. THE PROMOTER
    This competition / promotion (“the Promotion”) is conducted by Hisense South Africa (Pty) LTD (Registration Number: 2012/196073/07), with its registered address at The Estuaries, Building 17 Oxbow Crescent Century City, Cape Town, 7441 (“the Promoter”).

 

  1. PROMOTION PERIOD
    The Promotion will run from 13 March 2026 to 23:59 on 17 May 2026 at 09:00 (“the Promotional Period”). 

 

  1. WHO MAY ENTER
    3.1. The Promotion is open to all South African citizens and legal residents of South Africa who possess a valid South African ID document (Green ID Book, Smart ID Card, or valid passport for foreign nationals).
    3.2. Entrants must be 18 (eighteen) years or older at the time of entry.
    3.3. By entering the Promotion, the entrant warrants that they have full capacity to consent to these terms and conditions.

 

  1. WHO MAY NOT ENTER
    The following persons are not eligible to enter or win the Promotion:
    4.1. Directors, members, partners, employees, or agents of the Promoter, its advertising agencies, promotional partners, participating retailers, or any other person who directly controls or is controlled by the Promoter.
    4.2. Any supplier of goods or services in connection with this Promotion.
    4.3. The spouse, life partner, sibling, child, or parent of any of the persons named in clauses 4.1 and 4.2, who live in the same household as such persons.

 

  1. HOW TO ENTER
    5.1. Purchase Requirement:Entrants must purchase any qualifying Hisense product(s) from the Participating Product Categories (defined in clause 7) with a minimum total purchase value of R10,000.00 (ten thousand Rand) from any Participating Retailer (defined in clause 6) during the Promotional Period.
    5.2. Entry Submission:To enter, the purchaser must visit the Hisense South Africa promotions page or scan the QR code on POS (in-store from 30 March) and complete the online entry form.
    5.3. The following information and documents must be uploaded/submitted with the entry:
    5.3.1. Full name and surname.
    5.3.2. Valid email address and contact telephone number.
    5.3.3. A clear photograph or scan of the valid till slip or tax invoice as proof of purchase. The proof of purchase must clearly show the store name, date of purchase (which must fall within the Promotional Period), the qualifying Hisense product(s) purchased, and the total amount paid. 
    5.4. Proof of sending the entry does not constitute proof of receipt by the Promoter. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, or not received for any reason whatsoever. 

 

  1. PARTICIPATING RETAILERS
    The participating retailers for this Promotion are can be seen on the Hisense South Africa promotions page.

 

  1. PARTICIPATING PRODUCT CATEGORIES
    The qualifying product categories for this Promotion are limited to the following Hisense product ranges: Television, Laser TV, Refrigerator, Freezer, and Air Conditioner.

 

  1. THE PRIZES
    8.1. There are two (2) prizes to be won in this Promotion.

8.2. Each prize is a travel package for two (2) people (“the Winner and their Guest”) to attend the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Opening Ceremony and Opening Match in Mexico.

8.3. Each prize includes:
8.3.1. Return economy-class airfare for two (2) people from OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg, South Africa) to the destination airport in Mexico.
8.3.2. Economy-class ground transport in Mexico, including airport transfers (pick-up and drop-off).
8.3.3. Four (4) nights’ accommodation in a standard-class hotel (room sharing).
8.3.4. Meals: Breakfast will be provided daily at the hotel. On the match day (11 June 2026), the Winner and their Guest will enjoy a full day of meals as part of the hosted stadium experience. For all other meals and dining outside of these arrangements, the Winner and their Guest will need to make their own arrangements and cover any associated costs. We recommend bringing some spending money to explore the local cuisine and enjoy self-arranged outings.

8.3.5. Two (2) tickets for the Winner and their Guest to attend the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Opening Ceremony and Opening Match on 11 June 2026 in Mexico.
8.3.6. Comprehensive international travel insurance for the Winner and their Guest for the duration of the trip.
8.3.7. Transport: Hosted transport will be provided for airport transfers (to and from the hotel) and for travel to and from the stadium on match day. For any other days or excursions the Winner and their Guest wish to explore on their own, transport will need to be arranged independently. The Promoter will gladly offer guidance and recommendations for getting around Mexico during your free time.

8.4. Visa Responsibility and Contingency
8.4.1. The Prize includes the cost of the visa application fee for the Winner and their Guest.
8.4.2. The responsibility for obtaining the necessary travel visas rests with the Winner and their Guest. The Promoter will gladly provide reasonable assistance, including supporting documentation such as a letter of invitation, to help with the visa application process.
8.4.3. The Promoter cannot be held liable for, and the Winner and their Guest waive any claim against the Promoter arising from, the refusal, delay, or cancellation of any visa application.
8.4.4. In the event that the Winner’s Guest is unable to travel because their visa application is denied, cancelled, or delayed, the Winner will be given the opportunity to select an alternative Guest to join them on the trip, provided the new Guest meets all entry criteria and sufficient time exists for visa processing. If the Winner themselves is unable to travel due to visa issues, the Promoter may, at its discretion, regrettably need to cancel the award of the Prize and select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries.

 

  1. PRIZE CONDITIONS
    9.1. The prizes are neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash, credit, or any other alternative.
    9.2. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with any other prize of similar commercial value, should the advertised prize become unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control.
    9.3. The Winner and their Guest must possess valid South African passports (with at least six months’ validity beyond the return date) and must be available to travel on the dates determined by the Promoter. Should they be unable to travel on the specified dates, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner may be selected.
    9.4. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the Winner and their Guest may be required to sign a travel waiver and indemnity form provided by the Promoter or its travel agent prior to departure.
    9.5. Any costs or expenses not expressly included in the prize description in clause 8.3 are for the sole account of the Winner and their Guest. This includes but is not limited to: personal expenses, gratuities, telephone calls, mini-bar purchases, and excess baggage charges.

 

  1. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
    10.1. A draw will be conducted on 17 May 12:00 by a computer-generated random selection process, which is compliant with POPIA. All valid and verified entries received during the Promotional Period will be included in the draw.  

10.2. Two (2) potential winners will be drawn. In the event that a winner is disqualified for any reason, a replacement winner may be drawn at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
10.3. The winners will be notified by telephone and email within 3 (three) working days of the draw. The winners must confirm acceptance of the prize and provide any requested information within 3 (three) days of being notified. Failure to do so may result in the prize being forfeited and a new winner being selected.
10.4. The Promoter will take all reasonable steps to contact the winner(s). If a winner cannot be contacted successfully within the specified timeframe, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner may be drawn.

 

  1. VERIFICATION
    11.1. To claim the prize, the winner must present the original proof of purchase (the till slip or tax invoice used for entry) and their original South African ID document to the Promoter for verification.
    11.2. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any winner if the entry documentation is fraudulent, illegible, or does not comply with these terms and conditions. The Promoter’s decision in this regard is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

  1. GENERAL TERMS
    12.1. By entering this Promotion, all entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    12.2. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate, amend, or temporarily suspend this Promotion if any circumstances arise outside of its control which jeopardise the proper running of the Promotion. If this occurs, notice will be published on the Hisense South Africa website and Facebook page.
    12.3. The Promoter, its agents, employees, participating retailers, and associates shall not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise, arising from or in connection with this Promotion or the acceptance and/or use of the prize (except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law). 
    12.4. The Promoter collects your personal information to administer this Promotion. By entering, you agree that the Promoter may use your personal information for this purpose and to announce the winners on its website and social media channels. The Promoter will process your information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at https://hisense.co.za/privacy-policy/ and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). 
    12.5. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, FIFA, FIFA’s related entities, META (Facebook/WhatsApp), or any of the cellular network providers (e.g., Vodacom, MTN). 
    12.6. All entries become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.
    12.7. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
    12.8. Should any clause of these terms and conditions be found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining clauses will continue to be in full force and effect.
